Polaroid Photographer?

Postby Ceri » Thu 21 August 2014 / 01:55 am

Heya! I've joined this forum mainly to gather some information from the Polaroid community, though I do love photography and I plan on exploring Polaroid as a medium this coming year. :)

I'm Ceri. I'm a postgrad (studying my masters) and I'm writing my dissertation on Polaroid. I'm doing a joint masters so I had my exhibition for the fine art portion and I'm writing the diss for my art history portion.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a survey but while I'm researching and gathering information I thought that a survey wouldn't hurt and you lovely people are the perfect candidates!

There are some demographic questions because I really would like to see the who/what/wheres. I included gender and sexual orientation because I would like to see what is the majority. I tried to include all genders and orientations and I apologise if I left yours out.

Anyway, here's the link. Let me know once you've done it (or even if you spot any errors/typos. It's like 1am here and I need sleep).

Polaroid Survey

Many thanks ahead of time.

Oh, also I know the intro on the survey might be overwhelming due to where it's being published but I assure you all info is anonymous and I'm not asking for names or specific locations. :)

I've got 9 people who've completed it. That's brilliant. Cheers everyone.

It will be open for another week if anyone else is interested. Please feel free to pass it along to anyone else.

I'm currently completing another survey/interview for a few ex-employees of Polaroid that I've recently got in touch with. I'm really excited for all of this data and information. Every person's opinion and experience helps!
