Polaroid 600 modification to use fujifilm 4x5 instant film

Postby 1412235827 » Sat 12 October 2013 / 08:48 am

Hi all,

I recently bought a Polaroid 600 Job Pro 2.
I knew about the closure of Polaroid's production of films and shutdown of their factories, and the start of Impossible Project.
The price of the films are ridiculous.

I have a used cartidge with me, the battery still works fine. For now. (*-EDIT Battery just died.)
I am thinking of buying Fujifilm's 4x5 Film and loading them up the Used Cartridge after cutting them up into the right size.
Would this work?

Some examples of 4x5 Sheet film are the Fujifilm's
FP-100C (ISO100)
FP-3000B (ISO 3000)

One other problem is that the films have different ISOs.
I don't know how to overcome this, some mentioned placing the filter in front of the lens to trick the camera into using a longer or shorter exposure.

Current Battery hack

But please, just answer the question in bold will do.
If it's a yes, I will proceed to work on this project.
Otherwise my camera will be a nice paperweight.
