What was the film that made the durable, flat prints?

Or am I way off? It may have been the camera that was responsible for this unique print, or the camera and it's exclusive film for all I know.

My mothers old Polaroids include some prints that are completely flat, with no ridge in between the print and the white space below it. The space is there but all is flat. These prints also seem to be more durable than the others. Also, the back of the prints are completely a cold black...not just directly behind the photo part and as I said it's a very dark, cold black as if it were new.

I've sinced noticed "Kodak" in tiny letters on the back. So if I were to track down 1 of those shortlived Kodak instant cameras, could I buy film for it from Impossible Project or somewhere?

nope, impossible films are not compatible. and any kodak film you could find is probably unusable.

you'd better get a cheap polaroid 600 camera instead.
