If you are asking for my settings, I put the wheel 2/3 in the dark (side). For both of the 2 shots. They have been maid the same day with the same sun light.
It shows the efficiency of the tongue.
Anyone tried the new tongue for SX-70 folding cameras?

Thanks, i love your photos.

However, it's better with the tongue, especially to the coming summer!
i tried the Color Protection Film on around 36~40 °C outdoor, it turns a little bit Red and in high saturation.

I received mine and tested it with a empty pack (filled with darkslides
): il mechanically works well.
Now the hard part : I just have to wait for the sun to shoot

Hi,
I tested it with my SLR680 and experienced a big problem: the first picture I shot got stuck when trying to go out of the camera. The shutter couldn't close so that wasted me two films.
What happened ?
The film, instead of moving under the frog tongue went above it.
That way it couldn't go out, tearing a little the frog tongue.
See the torn parts, circled in red:

Then I decided to hack it.
Step 1 : Repair the torn angles with duct tape :

Step 2 : Add a cardstock to the frog tongue.
I used a band of duct tape to stick it to the upper part of the frog tongue as a continuity. I used a part of a "scratch and win" game. Specs : 9 cm x 1.1 cm.

His role is to force any film to go under the frog tongue.
Step 3 : Insert the modified frog tongue.

When closed, the film door will up the cardsdtock.
Step 4 : The camera with the film door closed.

The hack can't be seen at all, "On n'y voit que du feu".
New test : it's OK; it mechanically works with IMꟼOSSIBLE films. That way I could notice that the second film was wasted
