Afriad of carrying the goopy side around? Slap a piece of wax paper (or hell even regular paper's fine, after you rip it off the remnants will wash off, anyway) on it and stick it in your bag.

wax paper is great.
I use it to press my film transfers. that way, the "receiving" paper stays flat while drying and the films don't stick on the press.
